SKALA K

SKALA K is a brick clay shingle system designed for affordable contemporary facade applications. It combines the material character of fired clay with a disciplined, format-driven approach, creating depth, shadow, and visual rhythm across the building envelope. With three proportional formats and a consistent installation method, SKALA K offers flexibility for both new construction and renovation projects.

Panel Formats

SKALA K is available in three shingle formats—K1, K2, and K3—each formed with a C-shaped profile that establishes the exposure and creates consistent shadow across the facade. The formats vary in proportion to allow flexibility in scale and layout while maintaining a unified installation method. Dimensions are as follows: K1 measures 175 x 400 x 30 mm, K2 measures 250 x 400 x 30 mm, and K3 measures 185 x 500 x 30 mm. Each format includes pre-drilled mounting holes to support accurate alignment and repeatable installation.

SKALA K Design Options

SKALA K retains the natural character of fired brick clay. The surface exhibits a subtle, tactile texture developed through the extrusion and firing process, resulting in slight tonal and material variation from shingle to shingle. This inherent variation contributes to depth and visual movement across the facade.

The formed profile creates consistent shadow lines that shift with light conditions, reinforcing the dimensional quality of the system. Color is integral to the clay body, producing durable, through-body tones with natural variation. Standard colors are available, with custom color development offered to meet specific project requirements.
